Catherine Mullins

Catherine Mullins is an amazing worshiper and worship leader. She worships with passion and abandon.

She is one of the worship leaders at Coweta Community Church in Newnan, Georgia.  During the past year, she has also traveled extensively leading worship at various conferences.

Her itinerary

Her website is CatherineMullins.com . She also has a MySpace page.

Catherine’s first CD, Captured, was recorded live at the Florida Outpouring on July 22nd, 2008.  You can purchase that CD entitled Captured from Catherine’s website.

A second CD featuring some of Catherine’s own intimate worship songs was recently released.  It is also available through her website.

Hi,
I love Catherine Mullins’ worship as well. I think she is extremely anointed! I also love Heather Clark. It would also be great to see Misty Edwards lead worship there one night!

I’m SO honored you stopped by. LOVE your blog! :-) Thanks for saying hi.

Greetings from Pretoria – South Africa. I love Catherine Mullen’s & Heather Clark’s passion for GOD – bring down heaven. It will great to see Misty Edwards and Kevin Prosch too.

Wow – South Africa! Welcome and God bless you.

Anyone else notice that she looks like Kate from Lost?

I’ve never seen the program.

Who are the other worship leaders at the Lakeland Florida,Outpouring? I know Roy, Heather, Catherine, Michael Larson, but who is the bald guy that leads worship sometimes? I was wondering because he looked like one of Todd’s security people.

I was wondering also. Perhaps someone else will fill us in.

I think the name of the bald worship leader is David Fitzgerald.I think is really blessed,i almost mistook him for the leader of the band Newsboys!I am also a great fan of Catherine Mullins,i think she is supremely talented,a name for the future for sure.

Hi am bible college student in Wellington South Africa and I read your article on Catherine and I agree fully that she is anointed. I have watched some of the Lakeland Revival downloads where she leads worship. There is just something that she opens up to my heart for God that no one has ever done before. I am hungry for more of God and His presence every time, no matter if I’ve seen the download several times. Be blesses!

Catherine will be recording live at Lakeland next week, July 22 and 23. Please keep her in your prayers as God continues to open these doors for her. Thanks to Jungleswife and everyone else for all the encouragement.

WOW!

The Lord is moving mightyly through Catherine! I haven’t felt that strong of an Anointing in YEARS! This is what being in love with God is all about!

I just love it when Catherine is so “Intoxicated in the Spirit” she does that little “Chicken Dance” when her head bobs and her legs kick out! It reminded me of the Old “Walk Like an Egyptian” dance fad in the 80’s… Awesome! She really struts out for Jesus in a UNIQUE way! PRAISE GOD!!!

Does anyone know where we can buy David Fitzgerald’s and Catherine Mullins worship music? Maybe an online link to a website like Roy Fields has?

Thanks!!!

Blessings!

Catherine Mullins is recording her first professional CD tonight LIVE at the Florida Outpouring. The pre-revival cd with Catherine on it mentioned on the web does not sound to me professionally mastered and doesn’t capture the Sprit like a live concert anyway. You can watch for Catherine’s CD at http://www.catherinemullins.com

I don’t know about David Fitzgerald.

Thanks, Marvin. This post continues to attract a huge amount of traffic, so I’m updating it as I get additional information.

[...] 23, 2008 by JunglesWife Catherine Mullins is leading worship at the Florida Healing Outpouring [...]

I hope more people realize this is not just a passing fad of cardio-pentecostalism! This Phenomenon is the real presence of a HOLY God! He uses ordinary people and young women in blue jeans if that’s what it takes! God can use anyone! Ruth Graham came to speak at my church a few months ago and one of our pastors walked out! He said something about it being un-Biblical for woman to have authority over a man in church! That’s about the time I found a new church! Hey, God can and has used a donkey to speak to His people! I pray I’m not so full of biased opinions I can’t allow God to move through whomever and however He wants!

It’s been said that the great men and women in history were not necessarily brilliant people as they were passionate people! Passion got Hannah a miracle child when no one else was getting miracles. Passion got the Woman of Matthew 15 healing for her daughter. Passion not only turned personal need into answers to prayer, but God honored their faith by creating a Leader like Samuel, and if one believes it, the Canaanite woman of Matthew 15 enabled the Gospel message to be brought to the Gentiles after, as Matthew Henry suggests she wrestled with Jesus verbally like Jacob wrestled with the Angel of the Lord and prevailed. Who’s to say Catherine’s passion is not wrestling down spiritual strongholds long thought unbreakable?

“Passion is the power that raised Lazarus from the dead. Passion is that which overturned the moneychangers tables in His Father’s temple. Passion is the expectation of that a fig tree should produce figs out of season, or wither up and die. Passion is the Holy “Violence, the kingdom of God suffers as the violent take it by force.” Passion is something Catherine has for intimate fellowship with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

There are rare opportunities when God opens windows into His kingdom, and certain people who have given up everything for Christ radiate God’s grace and Anointing shame us who are consumed with the minutia of the world. We need to examine our priorities and realign them with God’s Word. While the Angel stirs the waters of God’s anointing at Lakeland and through Catherine, we must with great intensity seek the face of our Lord and sanctify our lives in His service. There’s little doubt we are teetering on the bring of the end times Jesus spoke of, and we need our hearts and lives to line up with God’s will and Word. Fill your canteen while the rain is falling!

Her praise of Jesus is Magnificent and Beautiful. I hope she
can tour the world, sing, dance and exclaim before millions.

Thank you for your comment, Daniel. :-) I think Catherine will have more opportunities than she can handle.

Thanks, again, Marvin. Catherine certainly challenges me in the area of passion. I saw an excellent post on a forum about the seven things Lakeland has taught us. Passion was one of them.

I visited Lakeland before Catherine arrived. Already there was an atmosphere of passion in worship. It was the first time I had a glimpse of what it would be like in heaven. I didn’t want the worship to end. Also, my physical body didn’t seem to have the limitations it usually does.

If I could, I would be camped out there until the meetings end!

Did anyone notice the person falling under the power while Catherine was singing “Your Name”? It was about half way through the song, just after the clip with someone waving an Australian flag in the center f the crowd and the camera was just switching to a man on the front line of people worshiping, then “Sloop”, down he went! Talk about an Anointed song!

What happened at Lakeland tonight? I tuned in late and I see some big dude turning the table on stage with the prayer requests upside down, then Catherine dancing on them and the big dude out on the floor! It appeared Catherine was just an unscheduled backup singer… What did I miss?

David Fitzgerald, Catherine Mullins, and someone I thought might be Jason Upton (his website says he is in Texas) were all there tonight.

The big dude is Eduardo (sp?). He is one of the security guys. The Arnotts prayed for him on one of their visits, and he hasn’t been the same since – in a good way. They had him give a testimony on July 17th. He danced across the stage twice after I tuned in. The second time, he fell out under the power, then got up and started “laying hands” on the prayer requests. Then Catherine danced all over them.

The security guy in front of the platform was dancing also.

That wasn’t Jason Upton tonight singing with David and Catherine, but I want to know who it is because that was AWESOME!!! I could have run around the yard on that one !! WOW !!

Oops! Thanks Cindy and April.

I just noticed that on Catherine’s website and her church’s website that Catherine will be back in Lakeland August 10-12th.

Excellent!

I’m loving the God.tv on Demand feature. It allows you to back up and move forward. Last night’s service still isn’t available, but there are plenty of others to enjoy until it is.

Loving all the worship. Catherine has SOOOO much energy. Can any one put names to any of the main worship team that pretty much always play with Roy Fields, and sometimes with Catherine and the others. I think Roy has called the drummer Billy and the lead guitatist maybe Josh.
God inhabits the praises of His people, and when there’s worship like this..God loves to show up and bless His people.

Joshua Henderson is the guitarist. The main bass player is Cory Horn. I’m checking on the name of the drummer.

Drummer – Billy Berry

Thank you – what an awsome worship band. Do you know if they are all fulltime musicians?

Josh Henderson, guitarist, is a Fresh Fire staff member. He has other duties in addition to playing guitar. I don’t know if any of the others are on staff. I’ll see if I can find out.

Even if they aren’t on staff, they are full-time musicians, in my opinion. When you consider the prep and practice time in addition to the four hour plus services several days a week.

[...] a fantastic energetic worship leader at the revival, you can find more information on Radiant God, I Trust You and Coweta Community [...]

Catherine has Updated her schedule to the August Appearance in Lakeland and is now is now Aug 11th – 13th instead of the 10th-12th!

Thanks, Marvin. Where did you find that? Her website hasn’t updated.

It’s listed on her church website as a correction

Thanks, Marvin! I didn’t think to check there now that she has her own websites.

Phil Lyon,

Josh, the electric guitarist, says he is the only staff member (part-time) and the other “regulars” are not on staff.
The acoustic guitarist is also a regular. His name is Austin Vespa.

I certainly admire their dedication. Although, what an opportunity to worship and soak along with a group of incredibly talented Jesus-loving musicians – day after day in the glory cloud.

Who was the keyboard player-worship leader last night, 29th? That dude was Kicken some “Spiritual Butt”, as Eli Miller said the other night! Followed by the comment, “Can I say that on TV?” I think he just did!

His name is Billy Harrison. He is the worship leader at Josh Henderson’s home church. (Josh is the guitarist who has been there almost every night.)

See the following post for a list of all the worship leader information I have so far. I’m updating it on an ongoing basis. http://itrustyou.wordpress.com/2008/07/18/worship-leaders-lakeland-outpouring/

Thanks for the link to your main worship leaders site – saves us cluttering your Catherine thread with this other stuff. I play drums in the worship band at my church here in UK (and hold down a full time job in the scular world) (we are still a long way off this level of worship but God still loves us!) The fire hasn’t really caught hold in our church..yet.. please pray for us. We need a BIG change of hearts. I cannot believe how many “christians” are so wary of what is going on in Lakeland and in fear of being deceived. How can they not trust that God is bigger than the enemy? How can they not see a clear move of God?

From what I’ve been able to determine, it seems that the “heresy hunters” believe that speaking in tongues is of the devil. Therefore, any movement or ministry that believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues must also be of the devil.

There is a long tradition of the establishment bashing revivals. When I was a teenager, our senior pastor came in and literally pulled the plug on the sound system during one of our youth meetings. Our youth group was in revival and the rest of the church wasn’t.

The establishment also wanted the Jesus Freaks to put on shoes, cut their hair, and dress properly. Guitars and drums were considered wordly instruments. The organist at one church called choruses (worship songs that weren’t in the hymn book) “little diddies.” That wasn’t a complementary term.

I do get rude comments on this blog from time to time. I just delete them because there are plenty of blogs that engage in the debate.

I still like what my friend’s Jesus Freak buddy used to say when someone tried to engage him in a debate, “I don’t know about all that. I just know I love Jesus, and people need Jesus!”

You know what worked for the blind man Jesus touched works for me! When grilled by the Pharasees’s the man healed of blindness by the hand of Christ said, “Whether He is a sinner or not, I do not know, one thing I do know, once I was blind and now I see!”

I tell them (Modern Pharasee’s) today, “You have your own god’s of relgiosity, spirituality, and excessive formality without heartfelt relationship with Christ, don’t try and steal my LIVING GOD from me!” Or as the button I wore as a teeager read, My god is NOT dead, Sorry about your’s!”

As I watch Catherine’s “Unmeasured Ecstasy” expressing delight in our Lord Jesus Christ, and her “Unbridled Joy” in His Holy presence we begin to sense the truth to the Scripture “He Inhabits The Praises Of His People”.

It has LONG been my assertion that when worshipers of the LIVING GOD Jesus Christ pour their hearts and lives on the Throne of God in innocent passion for intimacy through praise and worship and intense longing desire for Him, these doctrinal questions are made moot by the truth of His faithfulness rising above these things.

When the dogs of doctrinal correctness bark at my heals, I grab hold of the horns of the altar of God, asking for His judgement! Oh how sad Christianity has become a culture of religiosity and symbolism instead of unbridled passion for communing with a Holy God!

What I’m suggesting is the obvious… It’s not doctrine driving people to praise, but praise and worship resulting ultimately in correct doctrine. In plain English, “My God overlooks Erroneous Doctrine in favor of Worshipers of Him”. And THEN these doctrinal questions line up with Scripture, putting to shame the doctrinal tittle pinchers who believe one dot of doctrinal error will send one to Hell!

All the while God is PASSIONATELY seeking worshipers of Him with “Reckless Abandon”, rather than doctrinal preciseness! God seeks our hearts and these doctrinal “Tittle Pinchers” are blowing past the heart of God making often correct claims of doctrinal minutia! But God is saying to them, “It’s My Party, and I Can Love How I Want To!”

The Scripture that says it all in this case is, “I desire Mercy and not sacrifice”… Meaning the letter of the law kills, it is the Spirit that gives life! The difference between the letter of the law and the Spirit is that He is Lord of the Sabbath and His Spirit jumps off the mere intellectual understandings of Scripture into a Holy and passionate relationship experience! Without a profound and interactive experience with the living God of the Bible our religious genuflecting of rotely reciting the Bible is empty vanity!

My God will sacrifice appearances for the heart of His people, and correct doctrinal minutia in due time!

When the Angel of the Lord stirs the waters of Holiness, like Catherine is being used to do, I ain’t standing around thumbing through my 20 pound Greek Bible or divining (Like Water Witching) some bizarre excretion of Hermeneutics! I’m jumping into the water!!!

Change of Venue!

Catherine will NOT be going to Redlands California Sept. 10th-13th, but instead will be in Austin Texas Sept 11-14, 2008: Austin, TX w/Jerame Nelson-Austin Outpouring- Cathedral of Praise.

It’s listed on her church website as a change… It’s no surprise that Catherine’s website does not have it listed yet… The folks in IT are usually the last ones to know about changes! LOL!

Us technical people are low on the food chain! ;-)

Looks they could have the same IT people for both websites, huh?

I was reading Catherine’s latest blog entry today on her website and she speaks of complacency towards the things of God. And how Catherine made a choice to strive for intimacy and how she sought a tangible awareness of God’s love and presence this year in particular.

Isn’t it just like the Lord to not only answer her personal request in her quest for intimacy with God that He answers her in a way that affects thousands!

How often in the Bible we read of individuals with personal needs and wants express with extraordinary passion, push through, or as Jacob told the Angel of the Lord, “I will not let you go unless you bless me”… Hannah got Samuel, the Canaanite woman of Matthew 15 got her daughter made whole and the gospel was opened up to the Gentiles, The Centurion Cornelious, and many other such examples exist in the Bible, where persistence broke the status quo of what was believed possible.

Catherine got her intimacy with God she desired and is helping to restore Christians to their first love! What passionate need have we brought before the Lord today and, “Wouldn’t let go unless He bless us?” If not for our sake, we need to pray through the opposition because in God’s kingdom reality He turns our personal passion into great victories in the Body of Christ.

Never give up on God’s faithfulness to His Word! “My Word will not return to Me void”!

Can someone give the name of the prophetic acoustical guitar guy, wiht mid shoulder hair and gottee that played with Daivd fitzgerald at the lakeland fl outpouring

Are you thinking of Andrew Phillips? Is it the same guy who was there with David Fitzgerald and Catherine Mullins on July 25th? (You can check it out on “God on Demand” on God.tv) Andrew has more of a beard than a goatee, I think.

If that isn’t who you mean, let me know which night you saw him, and I’ll see what I can find out. Or perhaps someone else knows.

There is a separate post here in which I’ve included all the names and information I have been able to gather about the worship leaders and band members who have been at Lakeland. (See http://itrustyou.wordpress.com/2008/07/18/worship-leaders-lakeland-outpouring/)

I’m always looking for more info, and I continue to add updates there.

I am in england and I have thoroughly enjoyed the worship of all the Worship leaders at the Revival especially Catherine and Heather! I have never seen anyone so poured out for God in worship as Catherine displays. Heather has such an intense awareness of the Holy Spirit and his precious anointing! Happy blessings to everyone! Paul!

Another schedule correction for Catherine?

This time in shows on her personal website that she will be in Lakeland on August 12-13th.

Her church still has it listed as 11-13th.

I have been a “born again” since 1981 (I’m 55 now) and have had some experiences in worship where we have left the schedule and have drifted where the Holy Spirit want to take us. It could have been a pressure on one word…f.i. “adore”..,but it’s been a long time since I have watched such anointed worship as Catherine does in mind, body and spirit. What I have seen gives a refeshment to my whole Christian life. I seek God with more enthusiasm and I also take part in the worship.
We in Norway take part in what takes place in Lakeland. Not everything is easy to follow….but we do love the worship!

Knut, I agree – the worship has been such a blessing. My other favorite thing is seeing people who have been in constant pain for over 20 years healed. The look of their faces is all the confirmation I need.

According to Fresh Fire Ministries website the Spokane Washington revival is still on for the 16th, however Todd Bentley will not be there. Catherine Mullins is still listed as leading worship. http://www.freshfire.ca/index.php?Id=&Act=show_event_details&event=367

Here is the Spokane Revival home page: http://www.rcfvl.com/spokanerevival/isHere/
